    Position Status:                    Regular full-time     

    Work Schedule:                    Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and/or weekends. 8:00AM-5:00PM – subject to change

    Base Salary Range:              Commensurate with Experience

    Travel:                                   Up to 25% of the time in state; may include occasional out of state travel

    Summary Role: Marketing Coordinator

    Westport Properties continues to grow rapidly and we are in need of a Marketing Coordinator who will help in many facets of the organization as it relates to marketing our Company’s name brand and for the self-storage facilities. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the implementing and managing digital marketing and social media campaigns; generate, edit, share content (original text, images or video) to engage with company followers on various social media platforms. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will work help coordinate website development and integration of our technology platform. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is creatively and analytically inclined with proven problem solving capabilities and confident with making decisions and offering ideas.

     

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­campaign management and reporting. This position must be able to perform the following duties and manage the following area of responsibilities 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Analytics and Reporting
    • Campaign implementation and management
      • Generate, edit, share content (original text, images or video) to engage with company followers on various social media platforms
    • Project management
      • Maintain monthly advertising schedule and meet all deadlines
      • Following up on copy and verbiage for all other marketing campaigns - online and offline
    • Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and in person meetings
    • Maintain monthly schedule of marketing programs per property; update Marketing Budget spreadsheet monthly with actual dollars spent
    • Marketing Invoices - track and approve all marketing invoices to ensure payment process is timely and accurate
    • Order all marketing stationary for on-site managers and field supervisors
    • Effectively communicates with management, field supervisors and fellow associates

     

     

    Work Skills

     

    • Basic Computer Skills are required
    • Good organizational skills
    • Excel, Word, Google Docs
    • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro)
    • Google Analytics & Google Ad words
    • Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, Social Media and Content Development

     

     Experience & Qualifications

     

    • Prior self-storage experience preferred but not required
    • Successful record of accomplishment of sales and marketing skills in the self-storage or retail industry is preferred
    • Customer service, retail sales, marketing experience is preferred
    • General office and telephone skills are preferred
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail
    • Possess the eagerness and work ethics to succeed in a sales and marketing oriented environment

     

     

    Education

     

    • High School Diploma is required
    • Some college is preferred

     

    Physical Demands

    • Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 50% of the time and sitting up to 6 hours
    • Move/Traverse: frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk
    • Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 50 pounds
    • Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with clients who have inquiries about their storage accountsbilling invoice or other related account matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
    • Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, facility objects near and far
    • Climb: occasionally ascends/descends a flight of stairs to service the lights and/or reach overhead

    • Frequent outdoor exposure working in outdoor weather conditions
