    Property Services Coordinator Role

    We are seeking a Property Service Coordinator with vast knowledge of different maintenance related projects. The qualified candidate will also have extended organization skills, capable of handling the day-to-day coordinating of maintenance work in office premises and buildings from a remote location.


    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Document repair actions on a daily basis
    • Support the operations department
    • Maintain facility vendor and task schedules
    • Maintain vendor lists
    • 3rd party vendor management
    • Coordinate and schedule vendor bids and work (W9’s & Liability Insur.)
    • Work with city departments to coordinate inspections and approvals
    • Coordinate and schedule facility maintenance items
    • Research vendors and solutions to routine maintenance challenges
    • Update and maintain maintenance databases
    • Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications Required

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must
    • General computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Internet research skills)
    • Accounting experience a plus
      • Oral and written communication skills
      • Team player and can collaborate with other departments in the organization
    • Ability to deal effectively with co-workers, property managers, company personnel, and other consultants/ vendors
    • Ability to work flexible hours depending on various Facilities project deadlines

    Core Competencies:

    • General office and telephone skills are required
    • Basic Computer Skills are required
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Good organizational skills
    • Proactive, self-starter, goal oriented and ability to work independently
    • Maintain a positive attitude and composure in a Property Services  Support role
    • Collaborative Team Player
    • Ability and willingness to work remotely as necessary (if necessary for role)
    • Must maintain and hold a valid State Driver’s License (if driving for Company business for the role)
    • Uphold Company’s Vision, Mission Statement and Core Values


    Education and Work Experience

    • High School required, some College is a plus
    • Self Storage experience a plus but not required


    Equipment and Applications

    • Computer applications include: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, FreshDesk, and Internet research skills
    • General office equipment including: 10-key, fax, phone, printer, copier and postage machine


    Physical Demands

    • Stationary Position: frequently remains sitting up to 90% of the time up to 8 hours per day
    • Move/Traverse: frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk
    • Carry Weight: frequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 5-30 pounds
    • Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
    • Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far
